Authors should send the papers as an email attachment to the Editor-in-Chief, NARAYANAN SRINIVASAN on his e-mail <ammuns@yahoo.com>. Authors may send queries concerning the submission process, manuscript status, or journal procedures to the editorial office or the relevant associate editor.

Submission of an article is understood to imply that the article is original and unpublished, is not being considered for publication elsewhere, and will not be submitted elsewhere while it is under review by International Journal of Mind, Brain, and Cognition.

Manuscripts should conform to APA 5th edition as specified in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association with the exceptions and considerations listed below. Authors may be asked to re-format manuscripts that do not conform to the following guidelines prior to editorial evaluation.

1. Preparation of Manuscript. Please double-space all material. Manuscripts should have one-inch margins on all sides. Number pages consecutively with the title page as page 1 and include a brief abstract of 100 to 150 words as page 2. All tables and other end-of-paper matter except art should be numbered.

2. Figures. Illustrations (line drawings, halftones, photos, photomicrographs, etc.) submitted should be digital files following these guidelines:

●      300 dpi or higher
●      Sized to fit on journal page ( 51/2 by 71/4 inches)
●      EPS, TIFF, or PSD format only

Color illustrations will be considered for publication; however, the author will be required to bear the full cost involved in their printing and publication. The charge for each color page would be Rs. 800. Good-quality color prints should be provided in their final size. The publisher has the right to refuse publication of color prints deemed unacceptable. Authors may be asked to resubmit artwork for production purposes if the digital files are of too low a resolution.

3. Numbering of Figures and Tables. Each figure and table must be mentioned in the text and must be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals in the order of its appearance in the text. The word "Figure" should always appear as "Fig." in text and in legends. A brief title should be typed directly above each table. Tables do not need any legends, and any explanations or clarifications of tabular material should be indicated as a footnote to the table by means of lower case letters.

4. References. Contributors should refer to the APA Publication Manual 5th edition for the correct listing of references in the text and reference list. All references must be closely checked in text and lists to determine that dates and spellings are consistent. Please note that the names of all authors should be given in the list of references, and "et al." used only in the text. Examples for books, journals, and conference proceedings follow:

5. Spelling, Terminology, and Abbreviations. American spelling, rather than British, is preferred. The Third Edition of Webster's Unabridged Dictionary is the standard reference work when in doubt. Please try to avoid jargon and, whenever possible, abbreviations that are not commonly accepted.

6. Permissions. Contributors are responsible for all statements made in their work and for obtaining permission from copyright owners to reprint or adapt a table or figure or to reprint a lengthy quotation. Contributors should write to both the publisher and author to request nonexclusive world rights in all languages to use the material in the present article and in future print and online editions.

7. Proofs and Reprints. 30 reprints of the published article will be supplied to the authors as reprints for personal use and circulation. More reprints can be ordered for a price. There will be separate charges for color photographs to be published. Full color photographs will only be published only when this is absolutely necessary for the overall content of the article
